The Draft Law has been developed pursuant to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the action plan for the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, with the aim of improving state regulation in the field of pesticides and agrochemicals. According to the promulgated document, some procedures are proposed to introduce into the system of the registration formulated PPPs, such as: - Procedure of registration of active ingredients of PPPs is described as a mandatory requirement for registration of formulated PPPs - Implementing the state register of approved and registered active ingredients in the territory of Ukraine - Registration procedure for PPP formulations will undergo changes (under development) - It is planning to allow using extrapolation method of data from the active substance (active substances) to the formulation in scope of the studies on animals - Previous Law “About Pesticides And Agrochemicals” will be invalid from the date of entry into force new legislation This is the first version of the Law, after consultations and proposals in Commissions and producers the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources will issue new version of the Law with corrections and proposed version for voting in the Parliament of Ukraine.
